Today, President Barack Obama accepted an invitation to speak in a question-and-answer session to the Republican Caucus in Baltimore; he was personally invited by Congressman John “Fake Orange Suntan” Boehner (R-Ohio). I suspect that Mr. Boehner wishes he had not invited the President.
The White House requested that the entire exchange by taped and streamed live. The Republicans agreed, because they thought that this was their chance to continue their campaign for this President to fail. Bad move, Republicans.
The President not only answered every faux question and pointed out every “not true” statement (from memory, even), he once again showed his brilliance, his command of his office, and that he knows what he is doing and what he is talking about–even if many people seem to have lost faith in him.
It was a wonderful sight to behold. The entire forum will be re-broadcast tonight at 8pm ET on CSpan. It is quite telling that Faux News cut away from the live streaming as soon as it was apparent that the President was both taking names and kicking butt.
I wonder if the Republicans will invite the President back next month?
